Today, Children's Miracle Network's Credit Unions for Kids program is endorsed by nearly all 50 state credit union leagues and is the charity of choice for America's credit union movement. 2001 was the most successful year yet. Nearly half of America's credit unions raised $5,900,000! Every penny of this record-breaking total stayed in the local areas where it was raised. Credit unions from Alaska to California and from Florida to Maine banded together to demonstrate the compassion and generosity found within credit unions and their members.
